TenneT — Managed Cloud Platform Enablement
Context: TenneT TSO B.V. operates critical energy infrastructure across the Netherlands and Germany as Europe's leading transmission system operator. Reliable, secure cloud adoption directly supports the energy transition mission.
Challenge: Application teams across two countries needed to onboard to a centralised Managed Cloud Platform at pace — with varying maturity levels, cross-border complexity, and zero tolerance for security or compliance risk in a critical infrastructure environment.
Approach: Functioning as Cloud Enablement Lead for the MCP, defining reusable onboarding patterns, architecture guardrails, and quality assurance checkpoints. Delivered design guidance, training, and communication programmes. Introduced FinOps practices and collaborated closely with the outsourcing partner to ensure consistent, scalable delivery.
Result: 88 new initiatives onboarded since April 2025. The platform offering was aligned with 18 data-centre migrations, the OCI implementation and an SAP migration.

- Role: Senior Product Manager, Transaction Monitoring Detection
- Focus: Data Platform, Financial Crime Detection
Rabobank — Transaction Monitoring Platform
Context: Rabobank's Financial Economic Crime Tech area is responsible for detecting money laundering and terrorist financing across one of the Netherlands' largest banks, processing millions of transactions daily.
Challenge: Build and maintain a scalable IT and Data Science foundation that could support multiple model owners and ML engineers simultaneously — while transitioning the platform from a start-up to a scale-up operating model within the constraints of a major regulated bank.
Approach: As Senior Product Manager, owned the IT and Data Science base layer used by all model teams for financial crime detection, and led the 45 engineers who built and ran it. Treated the platform as a continuous development environment: automated, fully reproducible environments, zero-downtime releases, and security and compliance built in from the start. Guided architectural decisions and managed dependencies throughout the scale-up transition.
Result: Platform processes over 11 million transactions per day, and more than 100 data scientists, data engineers and software developers build, deploy and operate financial crime detection models on it. New features ship without disrupting existing work. Successfully navigated the Start-Up to Scale-Up transition within the Rabobank organisation. Led the audit of the Transaction Monitoring platform.

Context: Ahold Delhaize is one of the world's largest food retail groups, with brands across the Netherlands, the United States, Europe, and Asia. The Global Support Office drives the technology transformation enabling all brands.
Challenge: Migrate global application workloads from on-premises data centres to Azure, establish consistent cloud governance across all subscriptions in the global tenant, and modernise endpoint management across 130,000+ devices worldwide — at scale, without disrupting operations.
Approach: Led multiple technical product teams across Cloud Infrastructure and Endpoint Management. Chaired the steering committees for the platform topics with the regional IT leadership (NL, US, BE/CZ) and the Global CIO. Implemented the Global Cloud Framework with Microsoft. The Cloud Compliance Dashboard gave that group one compliance score per Azure resource, across security, service management and FinOps. Delivered a global Intune rollout using Autopilot, Co-management, and AADJ deployment models. Built the Global RPA infrastructure with a fully automated bot deployment and operations environment.
Result: Workloads successfully migrated to Azure. Compliance state made visible across the full global tenant. Intune deployed globally to 72,000 workplace, 50,000 mobile, and 8,000 store devices across all brands. Global RPA platform operational and enabling automation at scale.

Tooling and frameworks
Having had the opportunity to work across different organizations and sectors, I have built hands-on experience with the frameworks, standards, and toolsets that drive modern cloud platforms — applying these to improve agility, reduce cost, and raise the quality bar for platform engineering teams.
Service Management Frameworks
To effectively use the IT capacity of an organisation. This to ensure it maximizes on quality, prevent risks and ensure transparency of cost. In my experience most of the organisations I have worked at use ITIL but I am also no stranger to COBIT.
Enterprise Service Management Tooling
Mainly worked with Service Now, either implementing Service Now installations at our customers, or setting up the requirements for the support teams I worked with.
CI/CD Tooling
The last years I have mainly with the combination Github and Microsoft DevOps. As a Product Owner working in Platform engineering teams, I ensure we harmonize our toolsets, this to ensure our engineers and architects can work as efficient as possible.
Atlassian Suite
Confluence mainly to capture and manage our design and architecture decisions, or deviations. This was used throughout the organisation. Jira as an Agile toolset has also been used and integrated in the tool landscape of our platform teams.
FinOps
A key component in managing cloud infrastructure in an effective manner is to ensure the implementation of the FinOps framework. Maturing based on this framework is key to transparently manage (multi)cloud costs.
Microsoft Cloud Platform Services
Besides the Azure Cloud, Defender and Azure AD blade, I also have extensive experience with the Intune blade having deployed over 50K mobile devices, and 72K Workplace devices and 8K Store devices.
